In order to fasten radially extending supports (3) in the form of legs or wings (3) in a column (2) and whose components are part of a stand (1), such as a base or leg stand for furniture or the like, engagement bodies (20) situated or moulded onto the wings are inserted into recesses (6) on the column. The wings are then displaced in a direction axial to the column to lock the wings in the column. The stand (1) comprises a column (2) plus one or more legs or wings (3). One end component of the column has at least two separate recesses (6) at a distance from one another and each wing has at least two engagement bodies (20). The shape of the recesses (6) can be keyholes (7, 8), slots or the like while the engagement bodies (20) can be tongues (23, 24), catches or the like.<IMAGE> |
