Device for the coupling and uncoupling of a front loader on an agricultural tractor, in which a front mounting having a bearing and a rear mounting having a bearing jaw and a guide rail, adjacent to this, for a bearing journal are fastened to a tractor. A frame, on which a lifting arm of the front loader is articulated and to which it is connected via a lifting cylinder, has a bearing journal and a side arm extending forwards. The latter carries at its front end a guide in the form of a U-section and a stay and can be fastened in the bearing of the front mounting by means of a fastening device. For coupling the front loader to the tractor, the bearing journal of the front loader can be brought into engagement, as a result of the actuation of the lifting cylinder, with the bearing jaw of the rear mounting fastened to the tractor, whilst the guide of the front loader comes into engagement with the bearing of the front mounting fastened to the tractor.
