PURPOSE:A makeup cosmetic, containing hyarulonic acid having a specific molecular weight or a salt thereof, having improved lasting properties, extensibility, fixation and adhesive feeling, and capable of preventing the roughness of the skin and mucous membrane. CONSTITUTION:A makeup cosmetic containing a purified hyarulonic acid having 100,000-1,500,000, preferably 400,000-1,000,000 molecular weight and/or a salt thereof, preferably sodium hyarulonate, in an amount of 0.005-1.0wt%, preferably 0.01-0.5wt% based on the total weight of the cosmetic in the form of a lipstick, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, etc. The cosmetic is obtained by adding an alcohol which is a liquid at ordinary temperature or an aqueous solution containing 10wt% or more alcohol to the hyarulonic acid or salt thereof, mixing them in a dispersing machine, adding water to the mixture, adding a surfactant thereto, and further adding a mixture prepared by dissolving and mixing powder and oil previously at 80-105 deg.C under hating thereto, and agitating the resultant mixture. |
