Composite material, especially for protective suits

What is required for protective suits or similar uses is a material which affords not only the protective effect against high-frequency electromagnetic fields, but also good wearing properties, protects against weather influences and has low inflammability. The object was achieved, according to the invention, by means of a three-ply composite material composed of a textile outer layer permeable to water vapour, of an intermediate layer of a metallised textile sheet-like structure having good screen damping against high-frequency electromagnetic fields and of an inner layer of skin-compatible material permeable to water vapour.
