Prefabricated foil cables are in general used, at least as far as highways are concerned, for the wiring of Series 7 telecommunications racks. These foil cables are folded at the connection panel, and the folds engage, for example, into the end profiles of the bent rails. In order to achieve protection for the foil precisely at this point, a plastic sheet (4) is provided in the interior of the curve, which plastic sheet (4) is bent in a U-shape and against which a plastic part 12 is pressed (which extends partially over the region of the bend), with the interposition of the foil on that limb which is opposite the solder tags. <IMAGE>
