Use of a hot-formable hardenable nickel alloy for hot wear-resistant hot-working tools |
摘要 |
The invention relates to the use of a hot-formable hardenable nickel alloy for hot-working tools, which can be highly stressed in the temperature range from 650 to 850 DEG C, in the metallurgical and metal-working industries. By comparison with the known technological solutions, it is the object of the invention to obtain an improved hot wear-resistance of the hot-formable hardenable nickel alloys for hot-working tools and at the same time to obtain improved toughness and temperature shock resistance as compared with cast CoCrW or surface-welding alloys (stellites). According to the invention, this was achieved when, to ensure hot-formability, a nickel alloy fixed in composition and containing > 15% by weight of W and Mo is alloyed with 0.05 to 0.50% by weight of rhenium. A hardness > 450 HV after hardening is guaranteed. The use of the alloy according to the invention also ensures smelting with other iron alloys as the hot-formable composite, and surface diffusion treatments for further increasing the hot wear behaviour can also be carried out. Characteristic applications are forging saddles, hot-shearing blades and hot-working tools for extruders.
