[Also in Division C3] Sheets of glass are coated by means of a scraper with solutions containing in xylene or white spirit of an alkyd obtained by condensing linseed oil with a maleic anhydride/polybutadiene adduct (containing 4.7-23 wt % maleic anhydride), phthalic anhydride, glycerol and propylene-1:2 glycol (see Division C3), to which are added Ni, Mo, Co and Zr naphthenate driers and a commercial skin-preventing agent.</p> |
