PURPOSE:To have grinding which is free from dull tip of cutting edge as well as too much inversion of the same, by retaining the scissors on a scissors retaining tool equipped with a rotatable roller, angle adjuster, edge tip position adjuster and R'ed edge line start point index and also by allowing a grinder element to slide. CONSTITUTION:The back side of cutter body of a pair of scissors is placed in close contact with the oversurface of a transparent plastic plate 13 of an R'ed edge line start point measuring instrument, as well as with the lower end-face of a black plastic plate 14, and the R'ed edge line start point is marked on the front side of cutter body of the scissors by means of transparency of light source. This marking is put idential with the R'ed edge line start point index 8, and the cutter body is held by a scissors holder 3 and fastened by an edge tip position adjuster 12 and a scissors cramp 10 so that the edge line is situated over the holder 3, to be then fixed firmly by an angle adjuster 5 at an intended angle. Several drops of water are attached to the abrasive surface, which is laid over a roller 2 and the edge line of cutter body with the surface facing down, and then grinder element is slidably reciprocated in the perpendicular direction to said roller 2 and edge line. Now a grinding is easily obtained, which assures evenness from the root part of the straight edge line till the foremost point of the R'ed edge line. |
