MINUTE-ANGLE ADJUSTING APPARATUS ON WORK INSTALLATION BASE

PURPOSE:To eliminate deformation accompanied by sliding and permit a work to be positioned in inclination with high accuracy by supporting an elevation block which executes elevation operation through connection members with respect to a work installation base. CONSTITUTION:An angle adjuster 40 is equipped with a fixed block 42 installed on a standard base 10, elevation block 46 which can be elevated and guided by guide posts 44, slidable block 48 interposed between blocks 42 and 44, and balls 50 interposed between the block 46 and a work installation base 16. Said block 48 can be shifted in the transverse direction by a motor 30 and a feed screw 34. The upper surface of the block 42 forms an inclined surface 42a, and the upper surface of the block 46 forms a horizontal surface 46a and the undersurface forms an inclined surface 46b. A number of balls 50 serve as the connection members for transmitting the elevation force of the elevation block 46 to the base 16.
