<p>The machine produces peripheral trenches of up to 10 m depth and operates at a speed of up to 1 Km per day, e.g. for constructing large refuse dump boundaries, on water well constructions. An endless track vehicle has a superstructure containing the main drive unit with hydraulic piston/cylinder unit, horizontal shaft and movable beam, of which the free end carries the digger box, with a vertical beam interconnected with a second hydraulic piston/cylinder unit. Another beam (6) enables setting to the required trench depth working. Behind the guide duct is fitted a cassette type housing, with two rollers from which plastics foil is rolled to follow the trench wall and line the wall.</p> |
