<p>Binary information transmission device. The device forming the subject of the invention relates to a system for protecting binary information transmission systems that use an electrical line against overvoltages, especially those due to lightning. It includes a transmitter and a receiver, each provided with a high insulation transformer supplied by an oscillator [and] included in a cylindrical block of insulating synthetic resin. The transmitter and receiver are connected by a normal transmission line. The invention can be used for all devices equipped with remote control liable to be hit by lightning.
