PURPOSE:To make plural viewers watch selectively desired pictures individually simultaneously by televising pictures of two programs on one stereo screen through polarization in time division and allowing each viewer to select and put on polarizing glasses corresponding to the direction of polarization of desired pictures. CONSTITUTION:A light 12 from a light source 11 provided in the rear part of a projection TV is transmitted through an image forming face 5 and a polarization converter 10 to project pictures of two programs, whose polarizations are converted by 90 deg. in time division, on a known stereo screen 13, where the polarization of even a reflected light is held, alternately in time division in an after image holding time. Viewers 15, 15-put on polarizing glasses 16 and use their polarizing filters 17 to watch selectively pictures on the stereo screen 13 by a light 18 reflected from the stereo screen 13. |
