PURPOSE:To enable efficient combustion of the titled residue and to efficiently utilize the burning heat of residue, by a method wherein the heat, generated resulting from incineration, is recovered, and the residue is dried through utilization of a part of the heat, and steam is generated through utilization of another part of the heat. CONSTITUTION:Crushed residue is placed on a mesh conveyor 32, and during passage of it through a drying chamber 21, the residue is dried so sufficiently that it can be easily incinerated by hot blast fed through a hot blast feed port 33. The hot blast is produced by recovering the heat from high temperature exhaust gas produced when the dried residue is incinerated by a boiler 7 of an incinerator. The dried residue is incinerated in an incinerating part D, and steam is generated in a steam generating part E. This enables the residue to be easily and efficiently burnt, and allows efficient utilization of the combustion heat of titled residue. |
