摘要 PURPOSE:To excite a titled array by providing a shift register consisting of bits whose number is equal to the number obtained by adding one to the half of the number of oscillators and giving the signal of the first bit to the center oscillator and giving signals of bits to oscillators on both sides of the center oscillator successively. CONSTITUTION:FFs FF1-FF4 constitute a shift register 6, and a signal ''1'' 7 is first set to the FF1 of the first bit, and the signal 7 is shifted from the FF1 of the first bit to FF2-FF4 successively each time when a shift pulse 8 is inputted to a trigger input terminal. The output of the FF1 is given to a center oscillator A4 out of oscillators A1-A7, and the output of the FF2 is given to oscillators A3 and A5, and the output of the FF3 is given to oscillators A2 and A6, and the output of the FF4 of the last bit is given to oscillators A1 and A7. By this connection, the oscillator A4 is first excited and oscillators A3 and A5 are next excited and oscillators A1 and A7 are finally excited in accordance with the shift operation of the shift register to generate ultrasonic waves.
