PURPOSE:To prevent mis-writing to a memory by avoiding a power supply from being turned off until the minimum unit of memory rewrite is executed in a channel selecting device having the memory, even if the power switch-off is operated during the rewrite of the memory content. CONSTITUTION:A nonvolatile memory 6 is energized from a flyback transformer of a television receiver. When the operation of turn-off of a switch 9 is conducted on a keyboard 4, the operation is detected by a detecting circuit 2 and transmitted to a memory control circuit 1. The memory control circuit 1 controls an on/off control circuit 3 while awaiting the end of operation of the minimum unit of memory rewrite when the content of the memory 6 is on the way of rewrite so as to turn off the power switch 9. |
