PURPOSE:To form a positional relationship between a panel and a maks which is economically uniform and exact by fitting the mask to the panel after adjusting the temperature inside the panel to a predetermined temperature. CONSTITUTION:The inside temperature of a panel 1 formed with a phosphor film is measured by the temperature sensor 15 of a temperature measuring unit 9 while it is shifted by a carry-out conveyor 14. During the shift process repeating the lift, advance, descent, and lift by a transfer 17, the cooling air 29 blown up through the blow-out port 32 of a panel cooling unit 18 hits the inside of the panel 1 to cool it to a predetermined temperature. A damper 30 arranged in an air duct 28 controls the flow of the cooling air 27 by means of a control signal from the temperature measuring unit 9. The cooled panel 1 is fed to a mask fitting unit 11 carried out by a carry-out conveyor 34. |
