PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness for a rapid change at a deceleration time by displaying a value smaller than the actual number of revolutions if the change rate of the number of revolutions is high. CONSTITUTION:A voltage output V0 proportional to the number of revolutions of an engine is attained by a pulse detector 1 and an F/V converter 2. A differentiating circuit 3 differentiates the output V0 to output a voltage E corresponding to the change rate of the number of revolutions. The voltage E is inputted to a comparing circuit 4 and is compared with a reference voltage, and an analog multiplexer 51 is switched by the output. The output voltage V0 of the F/V converter 2 is applied to a terminal (1) of the analog multiplexer 51, and a voltage attained by dividing the output voltage V0 in resistances R4 and R5 is applied to a terminal (2). Therefore, the output voltage V0 is applied to a hysteresis processing circuit 6 if the change rate of the number of revolutions is low, and the divided output voltage is applied to the circuit 6 if the change rate is high, and thus, the corresponding number of revolutions is displayed on a display device 8. |
