CONSTITUTION:When air is supplied to a blast pipe 11 under pressure and water is supplied to a water supply pipe 12, the water in the water supply pipe 12 reaches the support member 15 of a nozzle 10 and flows from a water supply chamber 17 into a water supply passage 13 of the nozzle 10. On the other hand, the air forcedly supplied from the blast pipe 11 flows into the air passage 14 of the nozzle 10 through a blast chamber 16 in the support member 15 and blows out of a nozzle tip 18. At this time, the water in the water supply passage 13 is sucked by the air flow blowing out of the nozzle tip 18, scattered from the tip 18 in the form of mist and the atomized water is sprayed to a male and a female mold 1, 2. In this manner, when molds are cooled by the heat of vaporization of water, 1kg of water can remove a quantity of heat of 540kcal from the molds. |
