<p>Safety lighting e.g. a full width rear lighting system for a motor car, has a clear or coloured toughened tube. Within which is installed a wiring loom with lamps attached at similar spaced intervals. The loom is terminated at one or both ends by wire tails 14, or by inset plugs and or sockets. The lamps are wired in parallel so that in the event of a lamp becoming damaged or failing, the remaining lamps will be unaffected. The completed system with one or more circuits, is then sealed to prevent damage by liquids or any other foreign object normally within its environment entering the tube. The finished product is then installed by simple clips to the desired location and connected to the supply voltage of the relevant circuit. <IMAGE></p> |
