PURPOSE:To improve operability by automatically detecting leftward and right ward lateral positional deviation of conveyed article suspended by a hanger of an overhead trolley conveyer through a positional deviation detecting lever provided on an elevator bed. CONSTITUTION:In an operation process of incorporating an automobile engine, when a detecting switch 10 detects that an automobile body hung by a hanger of a trolley conveyer to be conveyed reaches a predetermined position on a leftward and rightward positional deviation detector 9, a synchronous lever 18 is first erected from the horizontal position to the vertical one by cylinder 17. Thus, a frame 2a of the body 2 abuts against the lever 18 to shift a movable bed 14 in the body conveying direction. Under such a condition, an elevator bed 21 is lifted by a cylinder 20 and a positional deviation detecting lever 24 is laterally inward moved by a cylinder 23. And a shift amount of said lever 24 is calculated by a computer from the output of a pulse encoder additionally provided on the cylinder 23. |
