PURPOSE:To obtain the speaker edge with an ideal characteristic by foaming a foamable fluid in a cylindrical vessel rotating around a cylindrical center as a revolving shaft, and compression-forming a foamed member with a inner cylinder shape obtained through the foaming in the direction of the cylindrical axis so as to reduce waste of the material. CONSTITUTION:A foamable fluid 1 is added with a foaming agent in an inner cylindrical vessel 11 to foam by applying centrifugal force. The cylindrical vessel 11 is rotated by a motor 12 around the cylinder revolving shaft in a prescribed direction so as to obtain the cylindrically foamed member having a cavity in the cylinder center part. The cylindrically foamed member 13 is released from the vessel 11, both ends are cut off to form the required cylindrical part 14. The cylindrical part 14 is sliced successively in the direction of cylindrical axis in a prescribed thickness to form an annular foamed member 15. Further, the annular foamed member 15 is compressed axially by a heated press machine 16 to form the member to have a U-shaped cross section, and the formed article is trimmed into a speaker edge 17. |
