PURPOSE:To secure those of responsiveness in steerage, stability and comfortability for driving, etc., according to a driver's choice, by integrally controlling a characteristically variable suspension and a steering gear. CONSTITUTION:A suspension system 60 is provided with a shock absorber 66 consisting of a spring 62 and an oleo-damper 64 and likewise an air spring 68 is formed by means of a diaphragm composed of a proper elastic material in and around the oleo-damper 64. When a solenoid 74a of a solenoid valve 74 is excited, interconnection is cut off. That is, when the interconnection between the air spring 68 and a control chamber 72 is cut off, effective capacity in an air chamber decreases so that a spring constant in the air spring grows large and therefore a suspension characteristic inherent in the suspension system comes hard enough. Like this, the suspension characteristic of the suspension system can be controlled in a way of operating these solenoids 69 and 74a by means of a signal out of a controller 50. |
