An improved crusher having a shell (1, 2) a rotary shaft (5), rotors (6, 10) mounted on the rotary shaft, breakers (9, 14) supported on the rotors, and shell liners (3, 4) mounted on the inside of the shell (1, 2). The breakers (9, 14) are adapted to be moved toward or away from the shell liners (4, 3) to adjust the impact gap between the breakers and the shell liners.
