PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of a fixing wrinkle in tansfer paper by disposing a guide plate in a specified position in a certain region of a roller. CONSTITUTION:The terminal (a) of a guide plate 23 by which transfer paper is supplied is positioned between the virtual cylindrical faces E and F drawn around the central axis D which is the axial line on the vitural plane B connecting the centers of the revolving shaft of a heating roller 21 and a pressing roller 22 in the contact part A of the two rollers, at radii R1, R2 which are the (x) value determined by substituting optional two values among 1-4 as a coefft. (c) in the equation x=c{(ldivided by d0)XDELTAdXL} (wherein c is a coefft. l is the length in the conveyance direction of the transfer paper, d0 is the circumferential length of the max. diameter in the paper feeding part of the heating roller, DELTAd is the difference in the outside circumference between the max. diameter and min. diameter in the paper feeding part of the roller 21, and L is a nip width). The virtual plane L0, on the plane B, running from the bisector C of the radius of the roller 21 through the outside peripheral surface of the roller 22 is designated as a lower limit, and the virtual plane H from the axis D running the line G of intersection between the plane E of the radius R1 and the outside peripheral surface of the roll 21 is designated as an upper limit. The guide plate 23 is positioned between the upper and lower limit planes L0 and H. The plate 23 is so positioned that the extended virtual plane I of the plate 23 runs between the axis D and the line C. |
