Sectional renewal of continuous beams made of prestressed concrete
摘要
The innovation relates to the arrangement and design of joints in continuous beams made of prestressed concrete, in particular prestressed-concrete bridges, which on the one hand make possible rapid exchange of individual sections but on the other hand do not interrupt the continuous structure for use. The prestressing elements (12) illustrated in the drawing end at the joint (4). The section ends are connected by short prestressing elements (3), the jacket tubes of which are filled in such a manner that rapid exchange and good corrosion protection are guaranteed. The joint surfaces are designed in such a manner that pressure forces but not traction forces are transmitted and that they can be opened rapidly and without great longitudinal displacement for exchange. To this end, a specially treated concrete surface or an armouring of the joint surfaces is envisaged. The joint itself is filled with a quick-setting mortar layer. The innovation therefore combines the economical and constructional advantages of a continuous beam with the advantages of the sectional renewal possibility of a structure separated by joints. <IMAGE>
