PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a reproducer and to obtain a magnetic recorder and reproducer with low cost and high quality by frequency-dividing an SIF signal received from a television broadcast in the intercarrier system by a suitable ratio to obtain a sound FM signal at recording. CONSTITUTION:The signal is received from an antenna 7 at recording, the SIF signal is extracted by a BPF17, and the sound FM signal 3 having the center frequency f3 is obtained by frequency-dividing the signal in a prescribed ratio at a frequency divider 40, the level is adjusted by an amplifier 41 and the result is inputted to a recording amplifier 13. The sound FM signal extracted by a BPF42 at reproduction is multiplied by the same ratio as the frequency dividing ratio at the recording by using a multiplier 43 and the sound reproducing FM signal equivalent to the SIF signal at the receiving and recording is obtained. As to the moitor of sound, the received SIF signal itself at the recording and the sound reproducing FM signal reproduced at the reproduction to be equivalent at the receiving and recording are applied respectively to an amplitude modulator 31 via a switch 37 to obtain the sound carrier of an optional TV channel. |
