PURPOSE:To promote remaining fuel in an outlet passage to be atomized and discharged, by connecting air introducing passages to the outlet passage between a valve part and a nozzle and applying a turning flow to the fuel existing between the valve part and the nozzle even after a valve is closed. CONSTITUTION:One end of four air introducing passages 19, 20, 21, 22, the other end of which is communicated to an engine intake passage, is connected to a part in the downstream side from a swirl piece arranged part in an outlet passage 23. A valve is closed by interrupting electrification of a solenoid coil 3, but air is still successively introduced to the outlet passage 23 by inertia of the air from the air introducing passages 19-22, and this causes fuel to maintain its flow even after the valve is closed, thus the fuel, given turning motion by a swirl piece 14 in the outlet passage 23, can be injected to be atomized from a nozzle 13. In this way, the fuel remaining in the outlet passage 23 is promoted to be atomized and discharged. |
