PURPOSE:To increase the settling area of soils and sands by inclining the tremie pipe disposed in water at the angle of rest or more of under-water soil and sand and installing the pipe. CONSTITUTION:The tremie pipe 1 is inclined at the angle of inclination (alpha) of the angle of rest or more of soils and sands in water and disposed. When soil and sand are charged into the tremie pipe 1, soils and sands flow downward along the lower wall section of the treime pipe 1 while bubbles are guided to the inlet of the tremie pipe 1 along the upper wall section of the tremie pipe 1 and discharged to the atmospheric air. Accordingly, the quantity of soils and sands to be piled up per unit time can be increased. |
