<p>PURPOSE:To provide an excellent spectral characteristic and durability by disposing >=2 fine parts having the selective scattering wavelength different from each other by the wavelength in a specific range on a polymer composite body. CONSTITUTION:A soln. prepd. by dissolving a material which can form a cholesteric liquid crystal into a liquid compd. having at least one polymerizable unsatd. group is coated on a transparent substrate 1 and thereafter the temp. thereof is controlled to form a layer 2 of a cholesteric liquid crystal. UV light or the like 4 is then irradiated thereto, via a photomask 3. As a result, the cured cholesteric liquid crystal part 2a has a certain selective scattering wavelength and the liquid crystal part 2b is an uncured cholesteric liquid crystal part. The temp. is then controlled to form the cholesteric liquid crystal having a selective scattering wavelength different from the hue in the previously formed part and thereafter UV light or the like 4 is irradiated thereto via the mask 3, thereby forming the cured cholesteric liquid crystal part 2c. The three cured liquid crystal parts, i.e., fine parts 2a, 2c, 2d, of which the selective scattering wavelengths are different by 50-300nm are thus formed by repeating the temp. change, exposure and curing in this order.</p> |
