PURPOSE:To reduce tracking shift due to the temperature change inside a magnetic disc device by composing a head arm, its holding part and a fixing part of the materials having the same coefficient of linear expansion or almost the same ones. CONSTITUTION:The holding part 5, the head arm 8 and the fixing part 10 are inserted so that the projection part 801 of the head arm 8 is engaged with the groove part 506 of the holding part 5. Subsequently, the fixing part 10 is inserted into a hole part 507, and after engaging a pawl part 12 with the engaging surface 803 of a hole part 802, the pawl part 12 is screwed with a nat 13 to fix the head arm 8 on the holding part 5. If the holding part 5, the head arm 8 and the fixing part 10 are composed of the materials having the same coefficient of linear expansion or almost the same ones, clamping torque to the head arm 8 is uniformly changed in accordance with the temperature change inside the magnetic disc device, so that the mutual position of plural magnetic heads 9 can be always kept at the set-up status and the tracking shift due to the temperature change can be reduced. |
