<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of a fluorescent body and to perform stable operation for a long period by providing a form specifying circuit and a deflection position control circuit which makes a shift in the position of a bright light on a cathode-ray tube according to the specification of a form. CONSTITUTION:Characters, figures, etc., are read out of a buffer memory 8 by signals from a drum controller 6 and a control part 7 and the cathode-ray tube is put in operation to form electrostatic images of the characters, figures, etc., on the surface of a transfer drum 1. Then, the size of a form is specified and the output signal of the deflection position control circuit 11 which makes a line shift according to the specification of the form from a form specifying circuit 10 is applied to a centering coil 9 to make the line shift. Consequently, a bright light display part shifts in position according to the length of the form. Consequently, the deterioration of the fluorescent body is prevented to hold print of high quality for a long period.</p> |
