Domestic or kitchen system intended for regulating means 3 for heating the contents of a container 2 by intermittent cutting-off of the means of heating, comprising, on the one hand, an independent device comprising a support 1 having an elongated arm 4 whose end is able to be immersed in the contents of the container and a body 5 located outside the contents of the container and an electronic assembly comprising temperature detection means defining a temperature threshold for the contents of the container and, in the said body, a source of electrical power, means for comparison of the detected temperature of the contents of the container with the said temperature threshold and means 34 for emitting signals operating on the order of the said comparison means, and, on the other hand, a control device 13 associated with the said means of heating and equipped with means 41 for receiving the said signals cutting off the said means of heating as a function of the signals received. <IMAGE>
