The present invention concerns a female valve element for rapid connections. In accordance with the invention the body 1 of the female element is manufactured in one single part the diameter of the internal bore of which decreases progressively in steps in the direction of the joining end 2, the portion which forms a guide and leaktightness for the valve slide 13 being constituted by an internal sleeve 17-25 engaged in a leaktight fashion in the cylindrical bore of the female element body and immobilised in position by any convenient means. The invention makes it possible to remove the threaded joint which is likely to leak and is difficult to manufacture. <IMAGE>
