ELECTRIC MACHINE INSTALLED UNDERGROUND CAVE

PURPOSE:To prevent the exposed part of an electric machine proper from corrosion by connecting a grating to a part or an earth terminal of the machine proper by a lead wire. CONSTITUTION:One end of a lead wire 17 is connected to a part 15a of a grating 15 by a method such as soldering and another end is connected to a part or an earth terminal 11a of an electric machine proper 2. With this constitution, even if waste water stays in an underground cave and the electric machine proper 2 which has a coated film damaged part 2a is immersed in the waste water 4, the current from a grounding rod 13 doesn't pass through the coated film damaged part 2a and the corrosion due to that current is avoided. The current from the grating 15 flows into the coated film damaged part 2a through the waste water 4 so that the corrosion of this part can be completely avoided.
