<p>The wall construction system enables building walls to be erected in a relatively short space of time. It comprises a horizontal box beam (1) of plastics or similar material with longitudinal slots (7) in both the upper and lower faces, which are connected by internal ribs (5, 6) having a trapezoidal cross-section. The slots receive a clip with a T-section lower member and a V-section upper member. The V-section enables a flat plate, such as a flat wall panel or glass window plate to be erected on the horizontal wall member. At intervals along the horizontal member are erected vertical stanchions (2) having a similar cross-sectional construction as the horizontal members. Clamping is by means of a locking piece (11) with a screwed attachment.</p> |
