PURPOSE:To regenerate a video signal individually at home over a specific channel of a normal television receiver by installing a video camera near a common-use entrance of an apartment house. CONSTITUTION:When the video signal from the video camera 2 provided at the common entrance is received by a television receiver 6, the video signal is frequency-converted to the specific channel, i.e. UHF channel 30 by a video modular device 3, amplified by a community receiving booster 5, and transmitted through cables 7, 7'...7n; the television receiver is set to the channel 30 and the video signal from the video camera 2 is regenerated. Then, buttons 8, 8'...8n for buzzers in individual rooms are installed near the door 1 of the common entrance and a person called by a visitor sets television receivers 6, 6'...6n to the channel 30 to confirm the visitor by the video signal from the video camera. |
