PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus which can be miniaturized, is easily mounted to a carriage and can perform stable injection ON/OFF operation, constituted so as to provide a two-way valve to a specific place between an ink pressure pump and an ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:A first two-way valve 4 is provided between an ink pressure pump 2 and an ink jet head 5 while a second two-way valve 6 is provided between the pipeline, which lies between the ink pressure pump 2 and the valve 4, and the atmosphere is provided. When ink injection is turned OFF, the valve 4 is subjected to closing operation and, thereafter, the valve 6 is opened. The ink supply pipeline between the valve 4 and the head 5 becomes short and ink dripping can be prevented. |
