The centreboard system for the infinite variation of the lateral plan essentially consists of two pivotable centreboards (1, 2) which are accommodated in the bow and in the stern, are each fastened to a pivot (3, 4) at the bottom part of the respective centreboard casing (5, 6), and with a second pivot (7, 8) are each pivotably fastened to the tubular linkage (9, 10, 11). When the bow centreboard (1) is fully swung out, the stern centreboard (2) is located fully in the centreboard casing (6), and vice versa. All intermediate positions of the centreboards (1, 2) can be obtained by displacing the tubular linkage (9, 10, 11). A long variant of the tubular linkage (9, 10, 11) is made possible by extension, the tubular linkage (9, 10, 11) for both variants being locked by two bolts (12). In the long variant of the tubular linkage (9, 10, 11), both centreboards (1, 2) are fully swung in in the respective centreboard casing (5, 6). <IMAGE>
