PURPOSE:To prevent the non-operative side brake wire from sag and deformation by operating pivotal arms provided on a brake cam shaft independently from each other with respective brake operating members for regular and parking purposes. CONSTITUTION:When a regular brake lever 29 is operated, a brake arm 24 is pivoted through a brake wire 26. Thus, a pivotal arm 34 is also pivoted through a connecting rod 37 so that a brake shoe 20 is expanded through a cam shaft 22 for braking. Then, a brake arm 25 connected to a parking brake lever 30 is pivotable about the cam shaft 22 so that said arm 25 is not pivoted. Also, when the parking brake lever 30 is operated, braking is carried out in the same way as above mentioned and then a brake arm 24 is not pivoted which is connected to the regular brake lever 29. |
