PURPOSE:To realize a small circuit scale, easy wiring, low power consumption, and high yield by providing a selector to every unit circuit of a register, and controlling the flow of a signal to a horizontal and a vertical direction alternately. CONSTITUTION:Signals from input terminals 4-7 are inputted to an FF1 through a selector 13 from the left or right side depending upon a switch 12. Lines are connected so that the data stored in the FF1 are transferred in both left and right directions. When a signal is transferred horizontally, a control signal 18 turns on four right-side switches 14 and turn off four lower-side switches 12, and a 2-input, 1-output selector 13 selects a signal from a D type FF on the left- hand side. When the signal is transferred vertically, the reverse state is set. |
