<p>PURPOSE:To attain the recording/reproduction of a picture with high quality and high reliability, by reducing the sliding friction between a magnetic tape and a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 30 the outer circumference of which upper and lower fixing cylinders run is projected outside from the upper and lower fixed cylinder outer circumference, at a position in contact with the outer circumference of a rotating member 27, then the contact area between the magnetic tape and the outer circumference of the upper and lower fixed cylinders 26, 27 is decreased remarkably. Further, the magnetic tape 30 is projected periodically to the outside by the magnetic head 29. Thus, the contact area between the tape 30 and the cylinders 26, 27 is kept small, the friction between the tape 30 and the outer circumfeence of the cylinders 26, 27 is reduced in addition to the squeeze effect of air flowing to the gap between the tape 30 and the outer circumference of the cylinders 26, 27, allowing to reduce the running load and wear of the tape. Thus, the recording and reproduction of a picture is attained with high quality and high reliability.</p> |
