PURPOSE:To obtain a solar battery module for high voltage generation, which has excellent dielectric strength between a module panel and a frame, by providing an insulating material between the module panel and the frame of the solar battery, wherein a metal film or a laminated body of the metal film and a resin film is used as a back surface member. CONSTITUTION:A panel comprising a cover glass 1, a resin 4 in which an element 2 is sealed, and a back surface member 5 is fixed to an aluminum frame 9 through a sealing member 8 made of isobutyleneisoprene rubber at the peripheral edge of the panel. Fluororesin paint is applied to the inner surface of the frame 9. An insulating layer 10, which is dried and hardened at a normal temperature of at 50-100 deg.C, is formed. By said insulating layer 10, an aluminum film 7 of the back surface member and the frame 9 are completely insulated. Since this solar battery module has excellent dielectric strength, the module can be used in a high power generating system, and reliability is high. Since the frame and the solar battery panel are completely insulated, electric shock accident does not occur even through a human body touches a mounting table or the frame, when the mounting table for mounting the solar battery module or the frame is grounded. Therefore safety is made excellent. |
