PURPOSE:To simplify the drive mechanism of a liquid-pressure type tire vulcanizer as well as raise the function of the vulcanizer by using a system in which an opening and closing mechanism and a locking mechanism for upper and lower molds are separated from each other, and both the mechanisms are driven by a fluid-pressure cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An upper slide 5 is provided through guides 3 and 27 in a vertically movable manner to a bottom force 14, and a lower mold fitting plate 8, a heat-insulating plate 12, an upper heat plate 13, and top force 15 are orderly provided to the downside of the slide 5. Fluid-pressure cylinders 4 vertically movable by two oil-pressure cylinders are provoided to both left and right- handed outsides of the upper slide 5 at corresponding two positions on the peripheral side of the top force 15 as drive sources vertically moving the slide 5. As a locking mechanism for closing the top and bottom molds 14 and 15, locking fluid-pressure cylinders 2 using oil-pressure cylinders are provided to equally distant positions of the periphery of the bottom force 14 on the lower part of the vulcanizer base 1. |
