PURPOSE:To accomplish an effective sludge water pressurizing promotion work without any troubles in the action of draining sludge to the surface even when a drift excavating distance is elongated, by connecting an extremely small diameter pressurizing pump capable of being easily inserted into the narrow drift to the intermediate portion of an extended sludge sending pipe. CONSTITUTION:An excavator 10 advances horizontally in a drift 11 while supplying water through a water supply conduit 12 and a sludge draining pump 8a is driven to send sludge water to the surface, while the pumping capacity of one unit of the sludge draining pump is limited and the excavating distance of the drift 11 will be limited. However, when a pressurizing pump 8b interposed in the intermediate necessary portion of a sludge sending conduit 13 is driven, liquid flowing from a suction port 6 into a hollow arbor 3 will be sent out of a discharge port 6' by screwing action of a spiral rib 4 in said arbor 3 as a rotor 2 is rotated so that the sludge draining action to the surface is effectively carried out even when the excavating distance of the drift 11 is elongated. |
