PURPOSE:To enable a continuous long distance transport by coupling an easily detachable spiral structure as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION:A spiral steel plate structure 2 substantially equal to the inside diameter of a cylindrical tube 1 is inserted into the cylindrical tube 1, and cylindrical tubes 5 covering the terminals of the structure 2 are supported by gun metal bearings 4 mounted on both ends 3 of the cylindrical tube 1. A flange 8 with a packing 7, which is substantially equal to the outside diameter of the cylindrical tube 5 and a little smaller than the outside diameter of the terminal 3 of the cylindrical tube 1, and is provided with concave portions formed at equal spaces and with detachable convex portions 6, is coupled to the cylindrical tube 5, whereby a similar cylindrical tube is sequentially connected to each other by confronting the concave and convex portions of the flange 8. A driving device 9 comprising a motor with a speed reducer is fixed to the terminal 3 of the cylindrical pipe 1, and a gear 10 fixed to the flange 8 is rotated by a chain 11. As a spiral transport apparatus is thus divided into simple structure devices to be driven, transport capacity can be suitably increased and decreased corresponding to the state of load. |
