<p>Crankshafts are held in carrier. Around at least one of sections of it to be heated is placed an openable or multi-part inductor, in which the conductors run parallel to the axis of the section to be heated and at suitable angles. The inductor has a swinging motion of amplitude >= that between two neighbouring parallel conductors. Preferably, the heated section of the crankshaft is wetted with cooling liquid. All the sections of crankshaft are treated simultaneously as above, motions of inductors being equal. Advantage: crankshaft is held so that it undergoes no mechanical forces during heating and hardening, particularly in manifold device for simultaneous heating.</p> |
