1. Continuously operating centrifugal strainer consisting of a conical bowl (10) widening towards the top and rotating around a vertical axis in a tank (14) which is divided by a partition of circular cross section into a liquid receiving chamber (18) and a chamber receiving the dried products (20), a solid skirt (26) surrounding the upper part of the bowl to which ist is fixed and a circular baffle (30) fixed to the partition at the level of the bottom of the skirt, characterised by the fact that it includes, in the circular space defined by the partition (16), the skirt (26) and the baffle (30), a droplet trap (33, 33', 33") consisting of a cushion of matted threads extending all around the partition (16) so as to catch the droplets in suspension in the air current flowing in this space and to allow their draining by gravity towards the liquid receiving chamber (18). |
