<p>The invention provides an exterior lamellar blind having a number of mutually parallel lamellae which are mounted such that they can pivot about two spaced-apart axes running parallel to their longitudinal axis and are located between strips which run transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the lamellae and belong to a first frame and a second frame which can move relative to the first frame, transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the lamellae. According to the invention, each frame is made up of at least two adjoining parts which can pivot relative to one another out of one position, in which they run in mutual extension, about an axis parallel to the other axes into a position in which they enclose an acute angle. In the last-mentioned position, the blind fully exposes a window opening which it screens, and its parts project at an angle from the wall, with the result that they form a type of canopy or awning.</p> |
