PURPOSE:To sense the condition of heat accumulation into a latent heat accumulating material, especially the condition upon finishing the heat accumulation, properly and operate the heat accumulating system smoothly by a method wherein a temperature sensor is attached to the outer surface of the bottom of a heat accumulating vessel, which stores the latent heat accumulating material. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of the solid heat accumulating material 2b is always lower than the same of the liquid heat accumulating material 2a situated above the solid material 2b, therefore, in order to sense whether the heat accumulation is finished or not, it is necessary to decide whether the temperature of the solid heat accumulating material 2b has become higher than the melting point thereof or not. In accordance with this object, the temperature sensor 3 is attached to the outer surface of the bottom of the heat accumulating vessel 1, therefore, it may be confirmed that all of the solid heat accumulating material 2b in the heat accumulating vessel 1 has been molten, when the temperature of the bottom of the heat accumulating vessel 1 has become higher than the melting point. At this moment, a signal from the temperature sensor is outputted to an operating instrument 6, therefore, the operating instrument 6 is operated to interrupt the output to a heater 5, therefore, the operation of the heater 5 is stopped. |
