<p>A sleeping bag 1 has a main body portion 2 which comprises a base portion 8, a top portion 9, and two side portions 10. The base portion 8 comprises a layer 11 of resilient thermally insulating material, between an inner shell 6 and a groundsheet 7 of the sleeping bag 1. The top portion 9 and the side portions 10 each comprise a layer of thermal insulation between an outer shell 5 and the inner shell 6 of the sleeping bag 1. Such thermal insulation is formed of first and second layers of thermally insulating material, which are so joined together as to define air pockets therebetween. The insulation of the top and side portions 9 and 10 overlies that of the base portion 8, where the various portions are secured together. <IMAGE></p> |
